THE HONEST TAKE
The only genuinely walkable address in the Triangle
If you want restaurants, live music, First Fridays, and the farmers market on foot, downtown Raleigh is the only address in the Triangle that truly delivers it. Fayetteville Street's restaurant row, Red Hat Amphitheater, Moore Square, Transfer Co. Food Hall - and Dix Park growing on the edge of it all.
The inventory is condos and townhomes, and buildings are not interchangeable: HOA health, dues, rental caps, and construction quality vary enormously. Two units with the same list price can have wildly different real monthly costs. That's the homework I do before you tour.
SCHOOLS
Magnet programs are the draw downtown - several of Wake County's strongest are within two miles, application required.
LOCAL LIFE
Fayetteville Street's restaurant row, Red Hat Amphitheater, First Fridays gallery walks, Moore Square and Transfer Co. Food Hall, plus Dix Park.
GOOD TO KNOW
Condo HOA dues run $200 to $700+/month and change the real cost of ownership more than the list price does. We model dues into every showing.
